About Me

Here is a picture of my sister and I at Padang during the end of NDP 2025 where she was a performer and I was the one of the wardrobe crew!

About Me

My interest of show/theatre production began back in secondary school when I was a dancer. During one of my performances in 2023, I found myself noticing the crew working behind the stage. Their coordination, precision, and dedication fascinated me. That moment sparked my curiosity about stage production and the roles that make a show run smoothly.

This eventually led me to pursue a Diploma in Arts and Theatre Management (DATM), where I gained hands-on experience in production, technical and arts management—despite having no prior background in production.

I also joined Campus Arts Productions (CAP), an Interest Group in Republic Polytechnic. Being in CAP has given me the opportunity to work on real productions and develop my understanding of backstage work.

Aside from production and stage management, I’m also deeply passionate about art and creative design. I love drawing and designing, and I find joy in bringing my ideas to life. I am also adaptable, hardworking, responsible, and organized individual with a patient attitude!

Moving forward, I hope to continue growing in the arts and theatre field—especially in roles that blend creativity, design, and hands-on production work, such as creating interactive experiences, production planning, or arts management. I’m excited to learn, gain more experience, and contribute to meaningful artistic projects.

Campus Arts Productions

I am an active member of Campus Arts Productions (CAP), an Interest Group at Republic Polytechnic, where I currently serve on the EXCO as Head of Welfare.

Through CAP, I have gained hands-on experience and took on various roles such as Assistant Student Producer, Stage Manager, Assistant Stage Manager, Stage Crew, Multimedia Operations, and Artist Liaison Officer. The experiences allowed me to contribute to productions while honing my understanding teamwork required behind the scenes.

Being part of CAP requires working under pressure in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, as much of our work happens behind the scenes and involves detailed management responsibilities.

As Head of Welfare, I am responsible for ensuring the well-being of all members, supporting them through the productions.

Additionally, I organize and plan a bonding activity for new members to help them get to know with the team. I believe strong communication and a supportive environment are essential, especially for those who are new to production work.
